Our urgent dream programme fulfils dreams for children with a short life expectancy, or children whose condition is rapidly changing and would mean they cannot fully enjoy a dream experience should they have to wait.

We will work to respond to urgent dream requests in a matter of days and weeks, and when a dream is time sensitive or medically urgent we will make it our number one priority. Urgent dreams create a meaningful experience in a short amount of time, and focus on helping the family to make precious memories.

Children eligible for an urgent dream;

• Aged 2-18 (reduced from our usual aged 5+ criteria)
• Do not need to meet any location requirements – you can access an urgent dream if this is medically necessary regardless of where the child lives
• Living in the UK, who has not had a dream or a wish before
• Prognosis of 12 months or less, or experiencing a deterioration with a profound effect
